Coaches: email address (for account sign-in via Amazon Cognito), name, and the programs / teams you create.
Players: first + last name, team, grade, and — only if your coach has enabled parent SMS verification — a parent/guardian phone number. We do not ask players for email addresses, school names, birthdays, or any other personal information.
Activity: shot counts, timestamps of each logging session, optional notes you add, and aggregate numbers (totals, streaks, averages) derived from those entries.
We do not track your location, look at your contacts, access your camera or microphone, or load third-party analytics / advertising trackers. We do not sell or rent data.
All data is stored in Amazon Web Services (us-east-1 region). The app is served through Amazon CloudFront with HTTPS. Database is Amazon DynamoDB; authentication is Amazon Cognito. Our access controls limit backend access to the project operators.
When a coach turns on parent SMS verification, every session a player logs triggers a text message to the parent phone number on file. The text includes the player's first name, the makes count, the time, and a one-tap verification link. We use Twilio to send these messages. Reply STOP in any message to opt out; the player's makes will still log but will not auto-verify. See our SMS Messaging Policy for full details.
This service is designed for organized team settings where coaches collect verified parent consent before inviting a minor player. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without such consent. If you believe a child under 13 has joined without parental consent, email us at support@10kshots.app and we will delete the account and any associated data within 5 business days.
During the active summer program, we retain all data to power the leaderboard. After the program ends, we retain aggregated roster and shot totals for up to 12 months for program-to-program continuity, then delete. Coaches and players can request earlier deletion at any time.
You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Email support@10kshots.appfrom the email tied to your coach account (or have your coach request it if you're a player). We respond within 7 business days.
